Login Administrator Instructions
Selecting Your Login Administrator
Your school/district/organization must select one individual to serve as the Login Administrator.
OPTION #1:
Choose the person who oversees the teachers responsible for teaching theatre (such as the Fine Arts Director or VAPA Coordinator). This person will be able to make changes to user accounts when new teachers are hired and keeps in communication with these teachers.OPTION #2:
Choose someone who oversees informational technology or manages teacher logins for the school/district's digital curriculum programs. This person can then communicate and coordinate with the person who oversees the licensed teachers.Send us the contact information for the Login Administrator so we can proceed to set up login credentials.

Login Administrator's Responsibilities
- Read and follow all instructions provided on this page (bookmark the page for future reference).
- Provide us with accurate information about each licensed teacher so we can set up the initial Login ID.

- Provide usernames and passwords to licensed teachers.
- Help teachers with reminders about usernames and passwords if they need help or forget.
- Keep excel document with usernames and passwords in a secure location.
- Remind teachers of ethical and legal obligations regarding the License Agreement.
- Assign unused licenses as positions become filled (see instructions below).
- Reassign licenses to new teachers that take over licensed positions (see instructions below).
- Ensure previously licensed teachers can no longer login by changing the password and account information.

- Inform us if someone else will take over as Login Administrator (we need to have current contact information for that person).
Single User License Terms
- Read the details of the License Agreement. Key points are summarized below:
- Each teacher can access Drama Works! Online under the terms of a Single Teacher License.
- Access is allowed from any internet capable device (such as computer, tablet, or smartphone) via username and password.
- The licensed teacher can view, project, and print curriculum as often as needed.
- Access is allowed for the licensed teacher, a substitute, aide, and that teacher's students.
- There are no student logins to setup, therefore student use must be supervised by the teacher.
- Access is allowed for one administrator (use one of the teacher's login credentials).
- Each teacher can access Drama Works! Online under the terms of a Single Teacher License.
- Access is allowed from any internet capable device (such as computer, tablet, or smartphone) via username and password.
- The licensed teacher can view, project, and print curriculum as often as needed.
- Access is allowed for the licensed teacher, a substitute, aide, and that teacher's students.
- There are no student logins to setup, therefore student use must be supervised by the teacher.
- Access is allowed for one administrator (use one of the teacher's login credentials).
- Licenses cannot be shared or rotated among teachers.
- Sharing usernames and passwords is illegal and can result in account access being suspended or terminated.
- Purchase additional licenses to give access to additional teachers.
- A license can be reassigned if a new teacher is hired to the position (no additional fee).
- Outgoing teachers must be denied access via account and password changes (instructions below).
- Access to Drama Works! Online must be renewed and paid for each year (except for Texas multi-year adoption).

Instructions for Obtaining Login Credentials for Your Licensed Teachers
PART 1: Choose Your Login Administrator (see above)
STEP 1
Send us the contact information for your chosen Login Administrator (see above).STEP 2

Emails needs to be valid, working addresses from your school/district/organization.

Verify all information is current and correct (especially email address).Any missing information will delay setup of login credentials.

Save the excel spreadsheet to your computer in a secure location for future reference.STEP 4

We setup the usernames and passwords and add them to the excel spreadsheet.We email the final excel spreadsheet to the Login Administrator.
PART 3: Test/Verify all Login Credentials Work Before Sending to Teachers
STEP 1
Open the excel spreadsheet with usernames and passwords.STEP 2
Go to DramaEd.net and click the Login button in the top right corner.STEP 3
Copy and paste the first teacher's username and password into the login fields and hit return.STEP 4
If the License Agreement appears, then the login worked.Do not accept the License Agreement for the teacher (they must legally do so).
After the teacher accepts the License Agreement, it will no longer appear at login.
You will then also be able to login and explore Drama Works! Online curriculum.

Click the Logout button in the top right corner.STEP 6
Repeat steps 2-6 for every teacher's username/password to verify they all work.STEP 7

PART 4: Send Login Information to Teachers

Copy and paste from below including the logo image, fill in needed information, and then send securely to each licensed teacher.
Send each licensed user his/her own login credentials only; no one should have access to more than one set of login credentials.

How to Change/Reassign Licenses and Login Credentials
We setup login credentials the first time for you, then the Login Administrator is responsible for making any changes.
You cannot change usernames, but you can reassign them to new teachers taking over licensed positions.

PART 1: Make Changes to Excel Spreadsheet
STEP 1
Open your saved excel spreadsheet with the licensed teacher usernames and passwords.If you no longer have the document, contact us at [email protected].
We will resend you the last saved version of the excel spreadsheet.
STEP 2
Save the excel spreadsheet to your computer adding the current calendar year to the title."HoustonISD_DW_Teacher_Logins" becomes "HoustonISD_DW_Teacher_Logins_2016".
You will need previous and current versions to compare and make changes online.
STEP 3
In the new excel spreadsheet, update any changes in information for returning teachers.Update changes in information for new hires replacing previously licensed teachers.
Fill in all columns completely, including for the Login Administrator.
Verify all information is updated, current, and correct.
STEP 4
Change the password for every profile that is being reassigned.Change only the last 1-2 digits of the password, or add 1-2 new letters/numbers.
You must change the password to prevent access by the previous teacher.
NOTE: logins from unlicensed users can result in automatic lockout for the current user.
Save all changes to the excel spreadsheet and note which passwords will need to be updated online.
PART 2: Make Changes to Accounts and Passwords Online
STEP 1
Go to DramaEd.net and click the Login button in the top right corner.STEP 2
Copy and paste the old username and password into the login fields and hit return.If the License Agreement or Welcome to Drama Works! page appears, the login was successful.
If the login does not work, check with the outgoing teacher if they changed the password.
STEP 3
If you cannot obtain the changed password, contact us at [email protected].Let us know any and all logins that you cannot access.
We will reset the passwords to their previous versions so you can login and make changes.

Click on the Account button in the top right corner.STEP 5
Under My Account section at the top, click on the link "edit your password and account details."STEP 6
Under "Edit Account Details", copy and paste information from the new excel spreadsheet.Enter the new first name, last name, and email address.
Enter the current password from the old excel spreadsheet (used by previous teacher).
Enter the new password from the new excel spreadsheet (changed/updated by you).
Enter the new password again in "Confirm New Password.)
STEP 7
Click on "Save Changes" to update the user profile to the new information.The new teacher can now login and the previous teacher can no longer login.

This reminds returning teachers of their login credentials to use and save for the new year.
